These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between the Rwanda ICT Chamber ("ICT Chamber") and its members. By applying for membership, the applicant ("Member") agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Membership is open to any company or individual engaged in the ICT sector in Rwanda.
Applicants must complete the membership application form and submit all required documents.
Membership is subject to approval by the ICT Chamber's Board of Directors. The ICT Chamber reserves the right to reject any application without providing reasons.
Members are required to pay an annual membership fee, as determined by the ICT Chamber.
Membership fees must be paid through the platform iHuzo. Non-payment may result in suspension or termination of membership.
Membership fees are non-refundable, except in cases where the application is rejected.
Members must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as the ICT Chamber's Code of Conduct.
Members are encouraged to actively participate in ICT Chamber events, meetings, and initiatives.
Members must promptly inform the ICT Chamber of any changes to their contact information or business status.
The ICT Chamber may collect personal data, including but not limited to, names, addresses, identity card numbers, contact information, company details, and demographic information.
Personal data will be processed for purposes such as membership management, event organization, and communication.
Personal data will be stored securely to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction.
Personal data may be shared with third-party service providers and legal authorities as necessary.
Personal data will be retained as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and in compliance with legal requirements.
Members have the right to access, rectify, and request the deletion of their personal data.
Members can withdraw their consent for data collection and processing by providing written notice to the ICT Chamber.
Members consent to the ICT Chamber taking photographs and/or videos during events for promotional and documentation purposes.
Photos and videos may be used on social media, websites, publications, and marketing materials.
Members may terminate their membership at any time by providing written notice to the ICT Chamber.
The ICT Chamber may terminate a membership if the member fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions or engages in conduct detrimental to the ICT Chamber.
Upon termination, all rights and privileges of membership cease immediately.
The ICT Chamber is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from membership or participation in ICT Chamber activities.
The ICT Chamber reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any changes, which will take effect immediately upon notification.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rwanda.
